A world where there are people called Summoneers, who have the ability to wield an element. And not only that, she discovers something incredible – the Summonings. Creatures from another realm, large tigers, leopards, wolves and more, all of which can communicate telepathically with their specific Summoneer, and not just that, they ride them too!
But there’s a war going on, and Valentine and her newfound friends find themselves thrown right into it when an attack is made on the school.

I am writing this review to show my appreciation to the author for writing such a delightful story. A great read!!! If you love reading the Harry Potter Book Series, then you will enjoy “The Summoning’s”. This was a very enjoyable short read, and what makes it better is that it’s in a series which I enjoy reading - the author has links to Book 2 and Book 3 as well. But too bad I was pressed for time, so I might come back and continue reading Books 2 & 3. I love how the author seamlessly developed the characters especially that of Valentine, who was passing between two worlds – the world of the Summoners & those of the mortals with a thread of inquisitive teenage crush coming to the fore with her friend Christian. Becky’ character seem to be someone that we can all identify at her age – free willy, all fun and living in the moment type unlike her friend Valentine whose thoughts are summoned in this line “smart girls are more depressed because they know the truth behind the world”. Book 1 is setting the stage of the two forces at work-Shadow Riders – the dark forces of evil and the Summoners . All Summoners have to undergo at Norvica an apprenticeship of 2 years; Valentine and her lot just started their introductory phrase. I wonder what comes next… Great read!!!Product details

Never purchased by us.
My curiosity got the better out of me and kept me reading from the first to the last page without interruption. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who wants read a very entertaining story.
A very well written novel. The characters and the mystical world in the book will suck you right in.
Love the plot and story and hungry for more, looking forward to book 2, tried find on but no luck so far
Loved the book.. But the description gets too much at times.. Making it feel clumsy. Overall the book is good with a good story
This was a free book, and worth the price. Not entirely horrible but not the best. It had the essence of Harry Potter with a female teenage narrator, who was discovering herself and her magical abilities after 16 years in the normal world. She had wanted to be able to do more for the world and for her 16th birthday that's what she got.
It was an okay story with an interesting fantasy setting. I want to read more. This was an interesting story because it has everything I want in a fantasy story a magical school, a battle between two forces, backstory, likeable characters, a protagonist double life, and my top two favorites that I don't see much in books (in my opinion) an animal companion and an elemental user.
EDIT After the book updated, more content was added. It's like all the books merge into one. This time we have the full story rather than parts. I enjoy the book even more now. I enjoy the reveal between the protagonist and the love interest. It makes sense and I didn't see it coming.
